In November 2007 Leah Culver, lead developer of Pownce, contacted me about designing a theme for her blog with the following requirements.
- Clean, classic look, not web2.0
- Use CSS and XHTML with Microformats
- Keep design elements to a minimum, let the text guide the design
After some mock ups, we decided on this version of the layout, quickly going from photoshop to xhtml/css templates and leading to a January 2008 launch.
