I’m hosting a couple of vids for Jim Lee’s site “Gelatometti“. In them, Jim takes you through his drawing process, you should go check them out. ——–
Quick round up of yesterdays purchases:
Adam Strange #3 - As brilliant as every issue thus far, Diggle makes Strange a compelling character. I like the science adventurer archetype that is being channeled. Quick paced and as always ends on a matinee style cliff hanger.
Batgirl #58 – Ties into last week’s Robin and features impressing art by Ale Garza which fully shows off all the development Garza has made in the last year. The pairing of Batgirl and Robin switches round the ‘traditional’ consideration of ‘brains & brawn’.
The Flash #216 – Flash is just great. Think that sums it up, this issue plays into and elaborates scenes in id crisis like a tie in should. John’s channels Wally’s excellently through the use of several trains of throught being displayed on the same page. More later… ——–
This is just asking for trouble.
Sitting at my good old work pc, looking at pictures of macs I want to buy juxtaposed with my online banking suite. The two don’t mesh all that well. Another lovely Monday.
