RetroSuper

Found carbonmade through Ryan’s lj, so far I really like the system. The back end is all ajax goodness and easy to use, the resulting pages look just awesome. Seriously great free web 2.0 app.

BackPackIt

May 21 2005

So I’ve been looking into online organisation tools and this one seems the best of the lot - Backpackit.
It’s a basic interface that allows for quickly building pages around projects/goals, or even just making a shopping list, you start off with a limit of 5 pages, which you can increase in exchange for a bit of cash, but the 5 does me fine for now. The pages have a quick build checklist function, a blog like notes section and if you pay the ability to upload files/images.

I can see it being useful in designing and doing comics, in that you can group your reference material, on the one page. Being that it’s a net service, I wouldn’t put anything important such as contracts and project communications, but as far as information collection goes it’s a winner.
