LeahCulver.com redesign

The redesign I worked on for Leah Culver’s site is now live

I’m really happy with how this one turned out, especially the permalink pages. Working on the design was a bit of a learning experience for me, since the work I’ve done in the past has been more graphically focused sites comics or illustration work. This site, however, is more textually focused and I had to really reign in on the graphical flourishes I had added to early mock ups of the site that distracted from the content.

Anyway, thanks to Leah for the opportunity, it was a fun little project!

Working all the damn time, I am!

February 25 2007

It’s only taken me a day and a bit to recover from the alcohol abusing of Friday night, feeling a bit better now.

Lots of exciting new projects on the horizon. My good friend Van is having a stab at the webcomics game and he’s asked me to put together the back engine for the site, my first big Django implementation! I’ve seen the first few comics and they’re really good, the comic, HundredHandSlap, is very much one to look out for!

More projects will be breaking in the near future, till then I’m off to watch Flash Gordon.
