Felt like it was about time for one of my irregular drawing uploads, this is just a Jor-El type that I sketched up in one of the sketchbooks I’m rotating at the mo, nice experience getting back to sketching to relax and unwind again. I’m lovin these V-Pens, fountain pen nibs on disposible pens, awesomess is a constant ink flow. Been hitting the theory books hard, Comics and Sequential art and Graphic Story Telling and Visual Narrative by the great Will Eisner is really opening my eyes on the medium and the importance of things like sound effects to the visual sphere of comics. Couple this with picking up Mighty World of Marvel last weekend, which is reprinting Frank Millar Daredevil and Jim Steranko Nick Fury (At £2.40 it’s a gem in your local newsagents fellow brits.) andyou’ve got a Jimmy Mac that’s excited about the comics medium again as such, for the first time in god knows how long I’m doing sequentials! ——–
